Red Hot Plants we are very proud of the quality of there artificial plants, they have been very carefully chosen regarding factors such as how lifelike they are, if they are value for money and mainly if we like them. Artificial Trees such as the Ficus range, the Blossom Trees and the Red Acer and faux Silver Birch are best selling trees. Artificial Outdoor plants are now a very popular choice, we have a range of Boxwood Topiary including fake Boxwood Balls and Towers. For a little bit extra and for something rather special we have replica Buxus Spirals, these are suitable for outdoor use and look fantastic when dressing a doorway at Christmas time. Included in our artificial outdoor plant range though completely different from topiary trees are artificial spiky plants. These are plastic, though don't be put off, when we say plastic plants as they are very lifelike, the range includes Aloe Vera, Pandanus and Yucca. The Pandanus comes in two colours, usual green but also a very striking burgundy. These are ideal as patio and decking planting, they give an impression of exotic and tropical. We also recommend these plants for commercial areas, shopping centres, pubs and shops as the spiky leaves aren't so nice to touch, so generally they get left alone. We have a large range of Artificial Trees, that we believe are the most realistic on the internet, the reason for that being that half are made bespoke to order by us and the other half are very carefully chosen for there lifelike qualities and how near to the real thing they are. All the replica trees are made using real wood stems, plastic just does not work here, and great attention to detail in the foliage. Nearly all the trees show new leaf growth in the foliage. The range has traditional English woodland trees such as the Silver Birch and for a taste of Spring we have Cherry Blossom Trees with either white or pink blossom. Both the Silver Birch and the Cherry Blossom have been popular for weddings. On this page we have the Ficus Trees and the Red Acer, the Ficus come with either a green or variegated leaf. Best sellers include the ever popular Bay Tree, which was actually the first tree we ever sold when we started the website, it is still going strong, and it's easy to see why, beautifully made with a straight trunk, bay leaves and bay berries, although not part of our outdoor range we do have customers that use it outside and say it's ok if sheltered. The Red Acer is also here, another long term favourite, a great shape and still well placed, it is a wonderful artificial tree for adding colour to a neutral room, what could be more vibrant than a red tree. We have thought carefully about the artificial plants we have on our website, for offices the artificial trees remain a favourite choice but in a small office or room space, adding a fake tree can sometimes just look a bit to much, where as a smaller artificial house plant can just do the job. We have gone quite retro here with reflections of the 70's and 80's with Rubber Plants and Cheese Plants (split-philo) the main reason being though are these two house plants are brilliant copies of the real thing. Both have fat leaves, show new growth and especially in the case of the artificial Rubber plant even feel like the real thing. We have also put in this section a more contemporary Bird of Paradise a Dracaena Reflexa, which has subtle striped leaves, a good choice for a splash of green in a corner of a room. If you are looking for a bit more colour in your house plant the Croton offers this with its vivid leaves of green, red, orange and yellow. Real topiary trees are demanding, can be time-consuming and if you don't know what you are doing they can be an expensive mistake. Times have moved on a lot since artificial plants first came about and nowadays topiary plants and trees are replicated extremely well. The leaves on our topiary trees are plastic which doesn't sound to good at first but the trees being copied are Buxus, Boxwood, Rosemary and Conifer which really do lend themselves to being made with plastic leaves. The trunks on these trees are often real wood, which gives a very lifelike look and feel. We do the standard artificial topiary shapes and all are suitable for outdoor use. Choose from spirals such as the premium quality Rosemary Spiral, which we think is the best quality artificial outdoor plant you can find, in the spiral range we also have a Buxus Spiral and Boxwood Spiral. For dressing a doorway formally we have a 5ft Cone which is made with artificial Boxwood, for a less formal topiary Cone we have the fake Buxus in 3ft or 4ft high. Office plants are very often neglected, and for some strange reason, never moved on, so the client or customers first impression of a company can often be a dying plant.
